Yes of course. Everything the orange man at the head of the red party stands for, is worserish.

But winning that point and even that battle is meaningless in the context of the war you’re losing and continuing to lose.

It’s not morally bankrupt to cast your vote for the softer authoritarian, so long as that’s a tactical move in service of a greater strategy.

But ‘blue no matter who’ will never be a final answer, or a solution to anything.

The house burning down a little more slowly still doesn’t leave you with the shelter of a home planet over Your head, under Your feet.

Your uninsured brother, sister, won’t be spared pain or viral death so long as the order of authority means more than the tears of a mother, and it does, to ‘both sides’ in this theatrical bread and circus combat.

So long as the police are fully funded, and given tanks to play with, people will continue to die senseless deaths at their hands. When the world that authority creates continues to humiliate and break people, children will continue to be shot in their schools by the broken.

It really makes no difference whether the fatal bullet is fired from the gun of some twerp with a badge, or some loser who can’t find a way to pay for his meds anymore.

The innocent will pay for authority’s way.

Authority seeks to profit from redirecting your rage toward the cartoon villain who currently holds the office, and away from the machine that gave him that office and gave us this false choice between two clown puppets.
