Good at Being Good

.. if not quite great at living happily.

Pork Top Loin, 1.99/lb. x 3.6 lbs: about $7.50 for most of two days worth of eating.

Season it and throw it on a rack in a roast pan. I used Pyrex.

Give it 15 minutes at 450 and then most of an hour at 350. That is IT.

The formula is supposed to be 20 minutes a pound at 350. But even with the higher temps at the beginning, I did have to go high again at the end for a few, to get it up over the 150 Fahrenheit minimum. Nevertheless, it was juicy and good as well as cheap.

Not organic in any way, but 20% the cost of Butcherbox, which is. I have to go there, for now.

I’m considering supplementing with hard boiled eggs for the mid-evening. They would replace cheese, which replaced hummus, which replaced popcorn.

I got five glasses of electrolyte hydration in early and I’m thinking of moderating the potassium for the next batch because of finger tingles. Which are a symptom of both too much potassium, and too little–I am an experiment.

I did walk. I did not film. I am holding the line at about 5-6 cigs a day. For now.

The Niners won but when it looked like they wouldn’t, I was okay with that.

I am living with poverty right now and I’m still not done learning whatever that needs to teach me.

My own virtue is starting to bore me and I may start thrillseeking but I have no real idea yet what that might look like.
