Pacifica Trailhead

That’s where I was for five days.

Yesterday coming through Flagstaff I reclaimed myself mostly. There was a long bad moment in the parking lot at Sprouts when the starter wouldn’t catch or even turn over.

I got it by jiggling the shift lever until whatever failsafe was safefailing let go.

Then I got gas, leaving it run just in case, headed back home, and got mostly unloaded in the cold. Crashed. In the bed way. For nine hours.

Today was setting the StarLink up again, running laundry all day, and filling the water jugs. Really not much more than that–oh–there is an official complete electrolyte mix now, too.

The sun is down, the house is mostly back in order, and I can feel myself wanting to sleep early again.

Then to face the realities in the dawn.

Begin again.
