Several little bits of dross picked off. The main questionable accomplishment was that together we watched the whole YouTube channel of the Flatbush Cats rescue operation.

The people who run it started out just as we have. Trapping and spaying the local populations, and releasing back to semi-wild lives some fair fraction of them, with cropped ears.

In the end I said to her: we could do that.

Or something like it.

Start out small and follow the passion. Get 501(c)3 status, and the YouTube Channel, and the Patreon … go from there.

Instead of a job, of course.

I have no idea whether it’s better in the end. Better in terms of recompense than say a small business making and selling videos in my areas of academic expertise.

Though I am sure it would be morally superior to selling anything, in that anticapitalista sense.
