Secure Data, Then Programming

The pressure is cresting. Soon, a chance to catch breath on the day of thanks. After that, a sweet downhill coast into the blessed solstice weeks. But before any of it, an intensity nearly intolerable. The encryption sweep for the securitrons. The scripting, for the GNU/Linux students. And now right now, a broad generic hour to be prepped for, to be witnessed by the General who does not have my best interests at heart.

I counsel myself repeatedly that it doesn’t matter, this event in a dozen hours. Either way, I say. It’s hard to keep believing it with a whole heart. But either-way is true. It’ll be over when the sun sets again. I will acquit myself nobly and of that I am sure.

Throw your blessing down on me and smile.
