Propine

Windows open day and night; this is perfect weather at a time when up north the heater would be going on. Beyond that it wasn’t much of a day–I had to deal with the evap shutdown guy, and then the propane trucker, and then the propane clerk down the road. People, in my space, and then for the one that wasn’t, I had to shell out four hundred in borrowed bucks. So kinds of pain.

I’m better now. And in the meanwhiles, the new Antix 19 is out, and I’m playing at the kind of thing I find weirdly fun. Antix is a GNU/Linux OS produced by a guy named anticapitalista, so you know I’m going to love it just for that. It’s based on Debian, an ancient grandparent of a distro and the largest that isn’t owned by a corp. Antix takes the free and independent values one step further by steering clear of Linux-in-a-suit tech like systemd. Have I lost you yet? I know, it’s crazy to yammer on like this for a general audience. One of these days I might specialize, or at least start using Categories over there in the sidebar –>

Speaking of which, I decided to link up version one of the Spill so that when you just can’t get enough of what I am, you can go root around in what I was. Enjoy.
