Coming out of the rainsoaking workpig week the next thing is another trip that goes long up the back way. The Gila is running hard and so is my nose and it’s a trade I’ll make.

Going back to Sand Rock feels like failure but maybe it’s simply strategic retreat.

I do always feel comfortable there on that plot of land. Whether that’s enough to make it worthwhile in the long run is still something I’m ruminating on and trying to feel my way toward.
