I beat this subject to death, but it deserves it. Inslee is right–pretty much nothing else matters, not as much anyway. (See also Williamson, on the question of heart.) We’re fiddling while the planet burns.

It’s easy to be pessimistic and I also think it’s correct. I don’t have any faith that the species is going to reverse itself in time. But like my brother says, we don’t recycle because it’s going to save the planet, but because it’s the right thing to do.
